We select only the best vintages to be a part of Estate Reserve. These are very limited wines, the grapes are specially selected and the quantities are limited.
The grapes for this wine are from a single 12-year-old vineyard, hand-picked and exceptionally selected. It was aged for 27 months in 300 l. and 225 l. French barrels, of which 63% new and 37% used.
The wine is unprocessed and unfiltered to preserve its varietal potential as much as possible.
Aroma:The aroma is dominated by ripe red fruits – cherries, dark cherries, sweet spices, combined with noble oak ripeness. Spicy spices and leather are also found. Complex, multi-layered aroma.
Taste: On the palate is very harmonious and concentrated, lovely acidity for great aging potential, long and spicy finish. Wine for rich food.
