The grapes for this wine are from 40-year-old hereditary vineyards of Broad-leaved Melnik variety. The grapes are hand-picked and carefully selected.
The wine has been aged for 27 months in Bulgarian oak barrels, from three different producers. Each barrel has a different effect on the aroma and taste of the wine, in order to obtain an extremely pleasant and complex, well-developed barrique wine.

The wine is awarded with a Gold medal from The Balkans International Wine Competition.
